Tai Chi Walking
Tai Chi Forward and backward walking with intermediate "T" stance for beginners. This video is for beginner Tai Chi students and demonstrates the rudimentary Tai Chi walking pattern. It demonstrates forward and backward Tai Chi walking, with the "T" step included to maintain balance. Once balance and leg strength are more developed, the "T" is discarded, and the moving leg/foot flows seamlessly as the step through. The same applies to backward walking.
Yang-9 Beginner Section one
This is a Demonstration Video of the beginning of the Yang-9 Tai Chi routine as taught by JinLi-Wushu Tai Chi School. It is not a teaching video; it is for following along and complementing in-class teaching. This short demonstration shows the commencement, wave hands, single whip, hold the ball and part the horse's mane, and right push hands. Beginner Tai Chi classes taught by Sifu Peter at the beautiful Studio 14 located in St Kilda at level 1/14 Pakington St. Classes are at 9:30 am on Tuesday morning.

Single Whip Footwork/Stepping: Modified and Normal
This is a demonstration video for students in my beginner Tai Chi class at studio 14 - JinLi-Wushu Tai Chi. The video shows a modified way of stepping for the single whip in the Yang-9, which may be easier if you have restrictions and mobility issues with knees, ankles or hips. This video accompanies 'in-person' training. It is very important to manage knee alignment and step correctly.
Deflect Parry Punch Yang-9 (Beginner level)
This video is to support students in the ongoing Tai Chi beginner class at Studio 14 - JinLi Wushu-Ta Chi School. The Deflect, Parry, and Punch for the Yang-9 is demonstrated. The movements are broken down for clarity with momentary pauses. The entire Deflect, Parry, and Punch sequence will be continuous and flowing when mastered.
